Abstract:
SOLUTION: To provide a golf ball in which a core is covered with a single layer or a plurality of layers of covers, at least one layer of the cover is formed of a resin composition which includes: (I) a thermoplastic polyurethane resin using as a polyol component, PTMG in which Mn is 1900-2100, (II) a thermoplastic polyurethane resin using as a polyol component, PTMG in which Mn is 900-1100, and (III) an aromatic vinyl based elastomer, in which a blending ratio of the component (I) and component (II) is set to a specific range, and Martens hardness HMb[N/mm2] of the cover layer formed by the resin composition including the components (I)-(III), and an elastic work recovery ratio ηItb[%] of the cover layer satisfy a specific formula.EFFECT: A golf ball of the invention does not reduce a carry in driver shot, is excellent in control properties in approach shot, and comprises preferable scratch resistance and molding ability.SELECTED DRAWING: None
