Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball having excellent durability.
SOLUTION: At least one of cover layers of the golf ball consisting of a cover and core is characterized in that a polymer containing (1) a first monomer component containing a first olefin monomer having 2 to 8 carbon atoms; (2) a second monomer component containing acrylates having 4 to 22 carbon atoms based on unsaturated carboxylic acid; and (3) an arbitrary third monomer component containing at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, anhydrous monomer, unsaturated monocarboxylic acid, second olefin having 2 to 8 carbon atoms and vinyl ester or vinyl ether of alkyl acid having 4 to 21 carbon atoms is formed.
