To provide a golf cart that does not require a large number of magnets embedded in each course and is free from a detection failure or a detection error.
This golf cart detects a leading current flowing in a guiding line embedded at embedding depths 34, 35, 36 and 37 of the guiding line along a travel route by an L coil and an R coil of right and left guiding sensors, amplifies and detects, it by a position detection circuit, and then obtains a differential output by a differential amplifier and inputs it to a main CPU (central processing unit). The golf cart travels the travel route while performing an automatic steering, an automatic acceleration/deceleration, and an automatic stop on the basis of a command from the main CPU 23. A C-coil as a sensor in the center of the guiding sensor detects a wheel level and detects information in each guiding route point by increasing or decreasing the detection level, and makes it control information for changing the speed of the cart and the sensitivity of a cart guard, ignoring reception and acceptance of a remote control, canceling a variety of settings, and the like.
