PURPOSE: To provide the golf cart which enables a means for guiding a cart body to travel along a travel path to easily be constituted at low cost.
CONSTITUTION: A road surface height variation detecting means 6 which detects the right and left edges of a road where breadthwise variation in the height of the travel path is large is provided on a travel machine body 1 so that the means can move reciprocally and freely in the right-left direction of the machine body beyond the lateral ends of the machine body, and a relative height variation detecting means 6 which detects the relative distances between the right and left road edge detected positions obtained by the road height variation detecting means 6 and the right-left width center position of the travel machine body 1 is provided; and the relative position relation between the machine body and road shoulder places is judged from the right and left road edge detected positions detected when the road surface height variation detecting means 6 moves reciprocally in the right-left direction of the machine body beyond the machine lateral ends and the relative distance to the right and left width center position of the machine body that the relative distance detecting means detects, and a control means brings the travel machine body under steering control so that the travel machine body does not travel deviating from the travel path surface.
