To provide a golf club grip capable of increasing frictional force generated relatively at the time of gripping with hands and also increasing comfortability, and preventing the fingers from being injured by rough surface, and also to provide a processing method of the golf club grip.
Three parts comprising a grip head, an upper step, and a lower step are molded and composed by heating and sulfurating. The upper step has a two-layered structure comprising a rubber inner layer and an outer layer which is composed of fiber net material for covering the rubber inner layer by applying adhesive. The grip head and the lower step are formed of a simple rubber layer. In processing steps, first, the adhesive is applied on outside of a crude rubber piece for covering with the fiber net material. Next, based on a design, the crude rubber piece covered with the fiber net material is cut so as to form the upper step of the grip having length for gripping with the hands. At the same time, the lower step of the grip and the grip head are formed by directly cutting the crude rubber piece. Finally, a semi-finished article comprising the cut grip head, the cut upper and the lower steps are heated and vulcanized using a mold so as to integrally mold three parts for obtaining a finished grip article.
