Abstract:
To improve not only horizontal moment of inertia but also vertical moment of inertia by appropriately distributing a weight of each area of a head.SOLUTION: A golf club head as a wood type golf club head is such that: when the golf club head is divided into a face side and a back side at an intermediate point in a face/back direction thereof, a weight at the back side is 25% or more of the total weight of the golf club head; and 90% or more of the weight at the back side exists in an area which becomes 30% or less of the full length from a back side end part to the face side in the face/back direction, and exists in an area which becomes 40% or less of the full length with an intermediate point in a toe/heel direction of the golf club head as the center.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
