Abstract:
To make it possible to deal with a trend toward a lighter weight and larger size.
This metallic golf club head is constituted by forming the one end of a head body as a neck part for mounting a shaft and forming the inside of this head body as a hollow part. This head body is integrated by joining shell piece parts 11, 12 divided to at least ≥2 parts with weld zones 13. These shell piece parts 11, 12 consist of an Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloy. These weld zones 13 consist of an Al-based alloy decreased in the respective contents of Zn, Mg and Cu included in this Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloy.
