Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club characteristic measuring apparatus which can measure the weight, the swing weight and the natural frequency of a golf club by one apparatus.
SOLUTION: A club supporting section 4 and a grip supporting section 5 are arranged on an action plate 2, and the reference position of the action plate is axially supported by a first holding base 8 having a first built-in load cell. The end part of the action plate is mounted on a second holding base having a second built-in load cell. A clamper 6 which has a built-in dynamic strain meter and clamps a grip is arranged on the base. The weight and the swing weight of the golf club are measured by output signals of the first load cell and the second load cell. By clamping the grip part by the clamper, and applying a vibration to the golf club, the natural frequency of the golf club is measured by an output signal of the dynamic strain meter.
