Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club set which enables a golfer to obtain a distance meeting loft angles, easily captures a ball on the fairway and hardly mishits the ball.
SOLUTION: At least the major portions of the heads of the golf club set, which is composed of plural golf clubs of different shaft numbers having the heads at the front ends of shafts and having the loft angles of the clubfaces of the heads within a range of 15 to 30°, are formed of metals relatively small in specific gravity and the heights from the soles of the clubface positions where the centroids of the heads are dropped perpendicularly to the clubfaces are nearly constant among the shaft numbers of the clubs.
