Title:
GOLF CLUB SHAFT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004081230
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide a golf club shaft excellent in durability by improving shock resistance on the TIP side of the shaft while keeping the lightness of the shaft.
A prepreg 15 consisting of a moderate-elasticity and high-strength carbon fiber reinforced resin sheet obtained by using moderate-elasticity and high-strength carbon fibers having a modulus of elongation of 30 ton/mm2 to 33 ton/mm2 and tensile strength of ≥5000 MPa as reinforcing fibers and a prepreg 16 consisting of a low-elasticity carbon fiber reinforced resin sheet obtained by using low-elasticity carbon fibers having a modulus of elongation of 5 ton/mm2 to 10 ton/mm2 and a compressive failure strain of ≥ 2.0% as reinforcing fibers are used for reinforcing the TIP side of the shaft.
