Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a golf bag which has an easy-to-operation, reliable, storable base material and whose operating member does not obstruct the use of the base material. CONSTITUTION: A golf bas includes a bottom frame 3, a mouth frame 5, a peripheral envelope 6 connecting the frames together, and a base material comprising two stands 14, 15, and the stand which is hinge connected to the bag so as to be rotatable between both expanded positions is energized toward a storage position for stopping by an elastic device comprising a U-shaped elastic armor-shaped member 21. An operating member 33, on one hand, is placed in a half-space located above a surface comprised of the bottom supporting surface of the bag, and on the other hand it expands outward on the opposite side to the main body 6 of the bag, so that when the bag is in an inclined position, the operating member 33 is located outside a surface containing two branching parts 22, 23, at a certain distance from the fulcrum C of the bag.
