Abstract:
To calculate a degree of contribution of each joint of a golfer during a swing to a head speed of a club.SOLUTION: A golf swing evaluation system includes: first acquisition means for acquiring position coordinate data on a predetermined part of the body of a golfer during a swing of a club by the golfer and position coordinate data on a predetermined part of the club; second acquisition means for acquiring ground reaction force data on the golfer during the swing; first calculation means for calculating joint torque for each joint of the golfer based on the acquired position coordinate data on a predetermined part of the body of the golfer and position coordinate data on a predetermined part of the club, the acquired ground reaction force data, and a rigid body link model; and second calculation means for calculating a degree of contribution of the calculated joint torque for each joint of the golfer and the force generated by a body movement of the golfer during the swing to a head speed of the club for each joint of the golfer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
