PURPOSE: To shorten time taken for assembling an exhibition rack, and dispense with a rack support plate for transportation by providing a bracket holding piece for fixing a bracket to a rack pillar.

CONSTITUTION: A bracket 24 is formed on the end face 14a with a notch 24a into which a bracket holding piece 25 is inserted. The holding piece 25 consisting of a cylindrical shaft part 25a inserted in the notch 24a, a tip end 25e having the thickness thinner than a difference between the lateral dimension of a rectangular hole 19 formed in rack pillars 17, 18 and the thickness of the bracket 24, a base part 25f having the thickness larger than the difference and a tapered part 25g having the thickness increased gradually from the tip end 25e toward the base part 25f is provided with a meshing part 25b having the length capable of meshing with the rectangular hole 19 and a press part 15c formed to extend from the base part 25f. The bracket 24 is secured fixedly to the rack pillars 17, 18 by pushing the press part 25c with fingers as shown by the arrow to insert the meshing part 25b between the side of the bracket 24 and the side of the rectangular hole 19.
