PURPOSE: To enhance the working efficiency of sewing machine work repeatedly performing the sewing of the same dimension by providing the sewing machine with a setting means of a selected stitch pattern, a memory and command means storing the setting conditions of the setting means and actual sewing conditions and a memory cancelling means of the memory content of a memory means.
CONSTITUTION: In a computer sewing machine possible in usual sewing, the feed quantity to a selected stitch pattern, a needle base line, a stop sewing command or the like are set by various setting keys 42. In order to enable repeated sewing on the basis of memory content, the set conditions set by various setting keys 42 and sewing conditions composed of the number of needles due to actual sewing are stored in a sewing condition memory means RAM 1 by a memory key 52. In order to store new sewing conditions, the memory content of the RAM 1 is cancelled by a cancelling key 54. Since the sewing conditions to the selected stitch pattern can be stored, when they are once set with respect to the kinds of different fabrics or fabric thickness, repeated sewing can be performed under sewing conditions optimum to them.
