Abstract:
To provide a new mold material which has some characters conventional gourd has, e.g. high water permeability, making a capillary action, absorbency, high air permeability, going bad, elasticity, heat resistance and so on, and also has a new character, reconstructing itself to a former figure before the process by a liquid or steamy medium.
A fiber gourd 2 made from gourd pulp is foamed into a specified shape like a plain plate 3, a converging plate 4, a triangle pole 5 and so on through heating and pressure processes using a liquid or a steamy medium like a home iron 1's hot steam, and a gourd molding is provided.
