Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a governor device having a simple structure and high efficiency by bearing-supporting the stator of a flywheel magnet type generator in rotatable manners and controlling the throttle valve of an engine according to the revolution of the stator. CONSTITUTION:When a flywheel 2 revolves, an electromagnetic force nearly proportional to the engine revolution speed is generated between a magnet 4 and a core 5. If the engine revolution speed is equal to a set value, the electromagnetic force and the tension of a spring are balanced, and an arm 10 is held at a constant position. If the engine revolution speed increases over a set value, the turning moment acting onto the core 5 overwhelms the pulling force of the spring, and the arm 10 shifts to the direction for closing a throttle valve.
