PURPOSE: To enable positive starting fuel increment at cold starting wherein oil viscosity is high when a stop device lever is rotated from a stop position to a normal position by constituting a torque cam so as to be capable of being forcibly rotated to a starting increment set position through an engaging body.
CONSTITUTION: In a fuel injection pump, fuel feed quantity is controlled to be increased or decreased by the movement of a control rack 27 affected by the rotation of a control lever 19 through a floating lever 24 and the like. At the time of engine start a sensor lever 40 allows a torque cam 32 to be rotated for engagement to a starting fuel increment set position, and at the time of engine operation the control rack 27 is forcibly shifted to the direction decreasing fuel feed by a stop lever 58 through a stop device lever 52. In this case, when the lever 52 is rotated from a stop position to a normal position, an engaging member 61 provided to said lever 52 is designed to be engaged with an engaging body 63 provided to the torque cam 32, thereby enabling said torque cam 32 to be forcibly rotated to the starting increment set position.
