Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a governor device for an industrial engine, which does not provide a complicated shape of a crank case, is excellent in a maintenance property, can avoid the contact with foreign substances to prevent failures and smoothly operate.
CONSTITUTION: In a governor device 13, a lever pivoting mechanism 16 for pivoting a governor lever 14 is mounted on a lid 12 for a crank case 2 to be disposed at the upper corner in the crank case 2, and a return shaft 17 providing a pivotal shaft of the governor lever 14 is disposed at the opposite side to a crankshaft 11 through a position occupied by the lever pivoting mechanism 16. Also, a solenoid valve 15 is provided between main component parts of an industrial engine 1 and located outside a planar contour of the industrial engine 1, while a operative section 15a of the valve 15 is directed to the center side of the industrial engine 1. Further, a governor rod 19 interconnecting the governor lever 14 and a throttle valve 18 and a governor spring 21 for energizing the governor lever 14 with a spring are disposed between the main component parts of the industrial engine 1.
