PURPOSE: To prevent sliding motional abrasion of an output part of a rotor and an input part of a governor lever by fitting the rotor around a protruding- retreating piece added to a governor shaft, and engaging a whirl-stop member projecting outside from the rotor with a locking part formed on the governor lever.
CONSTITUTION: Governor weights 8 and a protruding-retreating piece 10 are added to a governor shaft 5 of an engine E. An output part 21 formed on the protruding-retreating piece 10 is connected to an input part 15 of a governor lever 13, and governor force F is transmitted to the governor lever 13. In this case, a bearing 24 and a rotor 20 are fitted in order around the tip part of the protruding-retreating piece 10, the rotor 20 is received by an outside lace 25 of the bearing 24. The output part 21 is formed in the tip part of the rotor 20, and an annular groove 27 is formed in the tip part of the protruding- retreating piece 10. A whirl-stop member 19 is passed penetratingly through the rotor 20, and this is engaged with the annular groove 27. The whirl-stop member 19 is projected outside, and is engaged with a locking part 22 formed in the vicinity of the input part 15.
