Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a GPRS system that can speed up the establishment of PDP context and can increase speed for call connection time.
SOLUTION: In the PDP context establishment, the bearer setting between MS 1 and SGSN 3 and that between the SGSN 3 and GGSN 4 can be independently performed. The SGSN 3 can select a flexible bearer setting procedure based on traffic data or the like managed by an own node (accumulation contents of history database 31). For instance, when it is judged that bearers between the MS 1 and SGSN 3 and between the SGSN 3 and GGNS 4 both have a margin, each bearer setting is nearly simultaneously executed.
