PURPOSE: To save labor for finishing stake operation.
CONSTITUTION: On a tripod 2, a rail 6 is provided horizontally rotatably through a leveling base 4, an antenna 7 provided a laser painter 9 below a reception part 7a which can receive a position measurement signal from a satellite is mounted so that it can freely be moved and positioned along a groove 6s, and an azimuth sensors 121 and an azimuth detection part 183 for detecting the current azimuth ZR to which the rail 6 is directed. The reception part 7a while detecting the current position is guided to a reference point A. The reception part 7a is moved and positioned at a rail end position 6Q, and the rail 6 is directed to a target azimuth matching a normal direction perpendicular to a survey reference line such as a center line. The reception part 7a is arranged at a specific distance L1 from the point A, so this spot is pointed with laser light 39 and a stake is driven in at this point and utilized to perform the stake finishing operation.
