To provide a grade separation structure having a barrier-free cross-walk allowing even a wheelchair to be easily pass a crossing without encountering a vehicle and eliminating traffic accidents and traffic jam.
The straight lanes of two roads 12, 13 crossing each other are three-dimensionally crossed each other in the form of a high level road 18 and an underpass 20. The lanes comprise right side turning tunnels 28, 38 on the outside of the straight lanes and left side turning underpasses 48, 58, and allow the vehicle to pass a crossing without stopping. The barrier-free cross-walks 24, 26 are formed at the crossing on the same level as a side walk 22 therearound. Since the barrier-free cross-walks 24, 26 are three-dimensionally crossed with all lanes, pedestrians are not at all exposed to a risk from the vehicle, the pedestrians can cross the crossing safely.
