PURPOSE: The titled fungicide that is obtained by clathrating a water-soluble fungicide as an active ingredient, with a specific compound, thus permitting the active ingredient to gradually leach out in water to keep its fungicidal activity for a long period of time with reduced toxicity and skin irritation and high safety, because the operation environments are improved.
CONSTITUTION: The reaction of a water-soluble fungicide such as a compound of formula I which has been widely used as a variety of aqueous slime controlling agent, fungicide, algaecidal agent or antimold agent, because of its high fungicidal potency or hydrazine with 1,1,6,6-tetraphenyl-2,4-hexadiine-1,6-diol of formula II or 1,1-di(2,4-dimethylphenyl)-2-propine-1-oil of formula III is effected to give an opque chlathrate. The product is formed or made into a powder, then dispersed in water for application.
EFFECT: The product is solid and can be formed, thus being reaily handleable. Further, even when it reacts with another substance, the deterioration in antifungal activity can be avoided.
