Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general-purpose grain drier capable of performing an appropriate drying of various kinds of grains including barley by a single machine body by eliminating some problems such as moisture warming of grains until subsequent feeding without requiring any troublesome operations when divisional feeding is carried out.SOLUTION: A grain drier [1] is configured in such a way that a drying circulation operation for returning grains fed by a lifter [2] to a storage part [10] while the grains fed into the storage part [10] are being dried in sequence at a drying part [11] with hot air and an air feeding circulation operation for air feeding and drying them at the drying part [11] are changed over to enable drying of chaff to be controlled, a moisture meter [9] is arranged at the lifter [2] to measure a moisture value at the feeding time. When the transferred grain is finished, the feeding at the storage part [10] is stopped and at the same time when the moisture value of the fed grain is more than a reference moisture value of another setting, the operation is controlled to be changed to the air feeding circulation operation and the reference moisture value can be changed over to a lower moisture value than that of the chaff of another setting, thus this invention can be applied to several kinds of grains.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
