Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grain dryer enabling "uruchi-rice" to be dried, enabling "mochi-rice" accompanying whitening state specific to "mochi-rice" to be dried and at the same time, enabling moisture unevenness of "mochi-rice" to be in convergence.SOLUTION: A grain dryer comprises a feeding amount setting means, a moisture distribution measuring means for each of feeding layers, a circulation time calculating means for calculating an expected circulation time (H) required for convergence of moisture unevenness under circulation mixing of grain in response to the set feeding amount and the measured moisture distribution, and a moisture unevenness convergence mode for controlling dry circulation of grain under a drying speed reaching to a desired moisture value (Mset) required in an estimated circulation time (H) by this circulation time calculating means. The circulation time calculating means is constituted to enable the estimated circulation time (H) to be calculated in regard to "uruchi-rice" and at the same time calculates the estimated circulation time for "mochi-rice) under a prescribed additional calculation for the estimated circulation time, thereby enables drying suitable for whitening of "mochi-rice" while restricting the moisture unevenness through dampening of the drying speed.
