Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grain dryer capable of suitably drying grain by highly accurately detecting a decrease of an air flow rate in a hot air chamber.SOLUTION: The grain dryer configured to dry grain particles with hot air flowing through a hot air chamber (14) is provided with: a front side hot air temperature sensor (Sf) disposed on the front side of the hot air chamber (14); a rear side hot air temperature sensor (Sr) disposed on the rear side thereof; and determining means of determining a decrease of an air flow rate, when a reference ratio (Tr/Tf) which is a temperature ratio of the rear side hot air temperature (Tr) relative to the front side hot air temperature (Tf) each detected by respective temperature sensors is not higher than a prescribed reference value. The grain dryer operation can be shifted to a temperature lowering control mode when the air flow rate decreases, thereby the grain particles can safely be treated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
