Abstract:
To provide a grain dryer capable of efficiently removing peduncle during drying work without using a special awning machine, even for unhulled rice with high peduncle attachment rate.SOLUTION: In a grain dryer of the invention, at least a pair of grain drying chambers formed by screens with circular holes are provided in the grain drying section, the pair of grain drying chambers are inclined inwardly to each other in a funnel-like manner and a rotary valve is attached to their lower end joint, and the space sandwiched between the pair of grain drying chambers is formed in the hot air chamber and the space other than the hot air chamber is formed in the exhaust air chamber, the screen on the exhaust air chamber side of the grain drying chamber is provided with an inclined elongated hole section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
