To provide a grain drying apparatus that uniformly heats grain and suppresses cost for heating.
A drying chamber 16 of the grain drying apparatus 10 includes: an air inlet 18 for taking outside air into the chamber; and an exhaust port 20 exhausting inner air. A conveyance base 14 for grain is laid in the drying chamber 16. A gas fuel supply passage 24 supplies gas fuel. A catalyst body 34 is placed in the drying chamber 16 and catalytically combusts the gas fuel supplied from the gas fuel supply passage 24. An IR radiator 32 is integrally formed with the catalyst body 34 and is heated by catalytic combustion to radiate far infrared rays to the conveyance base 14. An aeration route discharges the heating air heated by the catalytic combustion to the drying chamber 16.
