Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing an electrically insulating coating after final annealing of a grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet to ensure electrical insulation of individual layers of the sheet when used for a transformer, and to provide a method for manufacturing the grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet using the electrically insulating coating.
The grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet includes the electrically insulating coating made of an amorphous carbon-hydrogen network containing at least one of doping elements Si, O, N, B or F in a range from 1 to 20 atomic percent. At least one adhesion improving intermediate layer is arranged between the electrically insulating coating and a sheet substrate.
