Abstract:

To provide a grain-oriented silicon steel sheet obtaining excellent noise characteristics and core loss characteristics when the steel sheets are assembled to an actual transformer.

The average β angle of the secondary recrystallized particle is ≤2°. The average β angle variation range within the secondary recrystallized particle is ≥1° and ≤4°. Surface tension in the rolling direction is ≥10 MPa. Magnetostriction λp-p at the magnetic flux density of 1.7T and the frequency of 50 Hz is ≤1.0×10-6. Further, the plate thickness t and the core loss W17/50 satisfy following expression (1): W17/50≤2.1×t +0.3, where t denotes the plate thickness (mm).
