Abstract:

PURPOSE: To inexpensively form uniform and stable grain patterns in large quantities by printing dot patterns on one surface of a transparent substrate using white ink and apply the solid printing of black ink to the white dot patterns and printing dot patterns to the other surface of the transparent substrate using brilliant ink.

CONSTITUTION: Dot patterns 12 are printed on the rear of a transparent substrate 10 using white ink and a solid printing surface is formed to the dot patterns 12 by printing so as to paint out said patterns 12. The solid printing surface 14 is pref. formed using black ink but white, gray or dark color ink is also used. Dot patterns due to brilliant ink are printed on the surface 10b of the transparent substrate 10. The same brilliant dot patterns 16 as the white dot patterns 12 on the rear are formed by silk screen printing and can be printed inexpensively in large quantities. The grain pattern sheet whose both surfaces are printed can form a grain pattern having a high grade feeling by the mutual action of the white dot patterns 12 and brilliant dot patterns 16 provided to both surfaces of the transparent substrate 10.
