PURPOSE: To apply woody crease like grain to the surface of a blow molded product by kneading a low m.p. thermoplastic resin and a toner compsn. of a high m.p. thermoplastic resin colored in different hue at specific temp. and extruding the kneaded matter through a die head held to the vicinity of the m.p. of the high m.p. thermoplastic resin.
CONSTITUTION: A low m.p. thermoplastic resin A and at least one kind of a toner compsn. of a high m.p. thermoplastic resin B colored in hue different from that of the resin A are kneaded within a temp. range from the m.p. of the low m.p. thermoplastic resin A to temp. lower than the m.p. of the high m.p. thermoplastic resin B by 30°C. Next, the kneaded matter is extruded to a die head held to the m.p. of the high m.p. thermoplastic resin B or the temp. in the vicinity thereof. In the grained blow molded container obtained by this method, the low m.p. thermoplastic resin A of a blend layer 5 is colored to form a base color 8 and the crease like toner color or mixed color 6 resulting from the toner compsn. is present.
