To obtain a granular agrochemical preparation having excellent storage stability by adding a specific compound to a system composed of furamethopil known as an agricultural and horticultural fungicide and bentonite as a binder.
This agrochemical preparation is produced by adding an epoxy compound having a partial structure of the formula to a system containing furamethopil [N-(1,1,3-trimethyl-2-oxa-4-indanyl)-5-chloro-1,3-dimethylpyrazole-4- carboxamide] as an active component effective for the control of sheath blight of rice, etc., and bentonite as a binder. The compounding ratios of the components are 0.1-50wt.% of furamethopil, 1-60wt.% of bentonite, 0.01-20wt.% (especially 0.1-10wt.%) of the epoxy compound and further preferably 0.5-75wt.% of a solid carrier. The epoxy compound is preferably one or more substances selected from epoxyglyceride, epoxidized soybean oil, etc.
