Abstract:

To provide a granular food which has the original highly flavored taste of milk, can control contaminants, quality deterioration, and the like, and contains milk or a milk-originated food material, and to provide a method for producing the granular food.

This granular food containing the milk or the milk-originated food material, obtained by spraying another food material with the milk or the milk-originated food material and then drying and granulating the treated material. The method for producing the granular food containing the milk or the milk-originated food material, characterized by spraying the milk or the milk-originated food material maintained at a low temperature on the other food material and simultaneously drying and granulating the treated material in a fluidized bed at a material temperature of ≤70°C.
