PURPOSE: To constitute the device so that food can be pulverized to a uniform granular size in a low noise state by providing a V-shaped guide groove provided along the advance direction of a blade-like rotary edge, a cut groove which is provided on its groove bottom and through which the rotary edge passes through a small clearance, and a sieve plate provided on a discharge port.
CONSTITUTION: When a motor 5 is driven, a rotary edge 6 rotates, and pulverization of coffee beans which go into a pulverizing chamber 3 is started. In the beginning of pulverization, since a granular size of coffee beans, that is, mass is large, even if the rotary edge 6 rotates at a low speed, the pulverization advances in a space in the pulverizing chamber 3. In such a way, as the granular size becomes fine successively, the coffee beans flow through the surface of an inner wall of the pulverizing chamber 3 by centrifugal force of the rotary edge 6, and are collected in a divided part of a bottom groove of a V-shaped guide group 7 along the V-shaped guide groove 7, cut more finely by edge parts 8a, 8a of the divided part 8 and the rotary edge 6, and when they become a prescribed granular size, discharged to an extracting chamber 12 through a small hole 9 of a sieve plate 10. In such a way, when the pulverization is all completed, the pulverizing operation is switched to a coffee extracting operation.
