Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a granule applicator enabling the selection of nozzle size and free from the trouble of clogging with agrochemicals in use.
CONSTITUTION: This granule applicator is provided with a holding part 2 to hold an agrochemical, a pipe 7 attached to the holding part 2 through flexible bellows 5, a diffusion nozzle attached to the tip end of the pipe 7, a mechanism to prevent the clogging of the agrochemical and a mechanism to control the application rate. The clogging prevention mechanism is composed of a container 26 attached to the pipe 7 and an iron ball placed in the container 26. The application rate controlling mechanism is composed of a mobile plate rotatably supported on a shaft attached to the tip end of the pipe 7 and capable of changing the size of the nozzle 8 by tilting the plate.
