PURPOSE: To obtain granules for tooth brushing, having particle diameters in a specific range, proper polishing force, whitening the teeth even by fine powder material, by integrating a water-soluble powder material having ≤about 10μ maximum diameter with a water-insoluble inorganic binder.
CONSTITUTION: A water-soluble powder material (especially preferably zeolite) such as calcium secondary phosphate, red iron oxide or zeolite is integrated with a water-insoluble inorganic binder such as colloidal silica, kaolin, calcium silicate or alumina sol (especially preferably magnesium aluminate metasilicate or colloidal silica) to give granules. The granules for tooth brushing have a particle diameter size comprising ≥80wt.% granules passing through analytical sieve mesh of No.32 but not through analytical sieve mesh of No.200, collapse in application of 0.1W10g load per granule and have effects recognizable by beautifying effects and touch of granules in the mouth.
