Abstract:
To provide a particulate matter feeding device that suppresses changes in a temperature of particulate matter before being put into a molding machine, and makes it difficult for defective molding to occur in a subsequent molding machine, with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A storage tank 10 of a particulate matter feeding device 100 stores resin pellets 9 in a state of being maintained at a constant temperature or higher. A discharge pipe 41 connects a lower end of the storage tank 10 and a material input port 90a of the molding machine 90, and guides the resin pellets 9 from the storage tank 10 to the material input port 90a according to its own weight. A level sensor 57 detects a position in a vertical direction of an upper surface of a region where the resin pellets 9 are accumulated in the discharge pipe 41. A supply amount adjusting mechanism 43 is attached to the discharge pipe 41 and adjusts an amount of the resin pellets 9 supplied from the storage tank 10 to the material input port 90a. A control part 60 controls the supply amount adjusting mechanism 43 based on a detection result of the level sensor 57 so that a retention time of the resin pellets 9 in the discharge pipe 41 is within a predetermined time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
