To provide a granule-sterilizing apparatus which can uniformly and highly efficiently sterilize a large amount of granules in a simple apparatus structure.
This granule-sterilizing apparatus comprises a porous drum 1 having small holes 2 on the circumferential side and rotated in one direction, an outer cylinder 3 surrounding the porous drum 1 at a desired space S from the circumferential side of the porous drum 1, a granule-taking port 11 formed in the lower portion of the outer cylinder 3, a high temperature gas-supplying port 13 formed in the upper portion of the outer cylinder 3, a granule-supplying port 15 which is fixed to the outer cylinder 3 and whose upper side only communicates with the side portion upward moved by rotation on the circumferential side of the porous drum 1 at a space S, a suction port 20 for sucking the inside of the porous drum 1, and a positive pressure gas-supplying duct 18 approach-disposed on the lower inside of the porous drum 1 to jet a positive pressure gas toward the lower inside of the porous drum 1.
