PURPOSE: To enable simple and efficient production of a granular product free from organic solvent, hygroscopicity and easy to handle by dispersing a specific water-dispersible coating agent and a disopyramide powder in water and spray- drying the resulting dispersion.
CONSTITUTION: (A) A water-dispersible coating agent selected from methacrylic acid-ethyl-acrylate copolymer, methacrylic acid-methyl methacrylate copolymer, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose phthalate, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose acetate succinate, ethyl acrylate-methyl methacrylate-trimethylammoniumethyl methacrylate chloride copolymer, methyl, methacrylate-ethyl acrylate copolymer or ethylcellulose and (B) disopyramide powder are dispersed in water, then the dispersion is spray-dried preferably using an air sweeper-built-in spray drier to form granules.
