Abstract:
To solve a problem in which a lithium ion battery (LIB) using a silicon negative electrode undergoes a large volume change during charging and discharging, and peeling occurred between a negative electrode material and a copper current collector, which has an adverse effect on its cycle characteristics.SOLUTION: A graphene oxide coated copper current collector can maintain its capacity well even after repeated discharges by increasing the physical interaction between a copper current collector and a negative electrode material by coating the copper current collector with graphene oxide, and can improve the cycle characteristics of an LIB using a silicon negative electrode.SELECTED DRAWING: None
