To provide a graphic data management method for speeding up and facilitating retrieval in the temporal axis direction.
Graphic data 507 shown in a figure is provided with data 508, 509 showing production time and extinction time of a natural feature. For example, when a building C is constructed at time Ts and is demolished at time Te, it can be managed by a database that the natural feature C is present only between the time Ts and the time Te, by registering the production time Ts and the extinction Te of the natural feature C in the graphic data 507.
