Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the graphic drawing device which decrease the frequency of access to a data storage means and efficiently transfer drawing data from a graphic drawing data generating means to a drawing process means.
SOLUTION: A main CPU 11 on which a geometry transfer engine(GTE) 111 is mounted, a main memory 12, a main direct access control(DMAC) 13, and the drawing process part (GPU) 15 are connected through a main CPU 1 and when the main CPU 11 makes transmission preparations for generated drawing data, the main DMAC 13 checks whether or not the GPU 15 is ready to receive the drawing data; when so, the drawing data are transferred directly from the main CPU 11 to the GPU 15, but when not, the data are transferred from the main CPU 11 to the GPU 15 through the main memory 12.
