To provide a graphite sheet which is superior not only in electromagnetic wave shielding nature but also in thermal diffusion nature or static electricity diffusivity, and to provide an electromagnetic wave shielding material.

In the graphite sheet equipped with a graphite layer 2 in which expanded graphite is made as a main material, the sheet is provided with a bonding part 5 for attaching the graphite layer 2 to an object. The bonding part 5 is provided with an adhesive layer 6b on a surface. An electromagnetic wave emitted from the object to which the sheet is stuck can be shielded and the electromagnetic wave can transmit through the object since the sheet has the graphite layer 2. Since graphite is made to be the main material in the graphite layer 2, shielding nature of the electromagnetic wave can be made high.
