The body of the spanner rack has the first and second planes 11 and 12 and the first plane 11 is provided with a plurality of retaining means 14 separately installed vertically. A plurality of grasping means 15 are arranged parallel on both sides of the retaining means 14 corresponding thereto while being installed separately sideways. As a result, a spanner can be left between one of the retaining means 14 and two corresponding parallel grasping means 15 while the spanner is retained by the retaining means 14 on a plane on both sides thereof. The retaining means 14 and the grasping means 15 combine to grasp the spanner sideways to be held stably on the body of the spanner rack.
