Abstract:

To provide a grate plate for a clinker cooler capable of reducing the amount of dropped clinkers without deteriorating the heat recovery efficiency.

This grate plate 5 for a clinker cooler is obtained by forming at least a surface to be the downstream side when viewed from the moving direction of clinkers in enlarged parts 13 so as to tilt in the moving direction of the clinkers in the grate plate 5 capable of air-cooling the high-temperature clinkers while transferring the clinkers and is equipped with nozzles 12 for jetting cooling air at a high speed and the enlarged parts 13 for decelerating the air on the downstream side thereof in a jetting part for the cooling air and composed so as to gently feed the cooling air from the enlarged flow passages 13 to the clinkers moving on the top surface of the enlarged parts 13.
