Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide grating combustion equipment which both makes possible an arrangement of drive devices under a grate which is as simple as possible and protected against materials falling through the grate, and also allows exchange of the drive devices during continuous operation.
SOLUTION: This grating combustion equipment is provided with the grate composed of grating steps constituted of parallelly positioned grate elements. The second grating steps can be driven in the longitudinal direction of the grate for fire stirring motions and the grating steps respectively positioned among the second grating steps are positionally fixed. In addition, the drive devices 18 for traveling grating steps are positioned below the grate 4 in such a state where the devices 18 are protected by a housing 25.
