To propose a new style of grave by providing a grave type ash laying apparatus which allows a family to carefully keep the ashes of family members by their sides for a long period without constructing any fine grave in a suburban graveyard as a countermeasure against the various problems encountered by the present grave.

A grave type ash laying apparatus is composed of a tombstone section 1 composed of a pole stone 3, base stones 4a and 4b, etc., and an ash laying section 2 in which an ash laying space 6 for laying separated ashes by hollowing out the inside. The sections 1 and 2 are formed by integrating separately worked stones with an adhesive and the weight of the apparatus is controlled so that the apparatus may be carried by one man.
