Abstract:

To easily and certainly wash and clean flower stands by a method wherein the flower stand holes are arranged at symmetrical positions with a grave-post at center at both sides of a gravestone constituting a grave together with the grave-post while the flower stand holes are made penetrable vertically and the diameter of each of the flower stand holes is made within the specified limits.

A grave 1 is equipped with a burial ground F covered with gravels and demarcated by a boundary 15 formed of curbstones, and a gravestone 4 is laid on the burial ground F at a position behind a front stone 16. The gravestone 4 has a lower base stone 2A laid on the burial ground F and equipped with flower stand holes 5 and 5 each made up from a vertically penetrable round hole 10 that are formed at symmetrical positions at both sides on the base stone 2A with a grave-post 3 being as the center. The diameter L of the flower stand hole is determined, being selected out of a range from 80 to 150 mm, and as the underside of the base stone 2A having the flower stand holes 5 is virtually brought into contact with the burial ground F, water coming into the holes is quickly drained away. Therefore, the flower stands can be washed and cleaned easily and surely.
