Abstract:
To provide a gravestone type ornament and a manufacturing method therefor, the gravestone type ornament being suitable for a memorial service for ancestors or deceased persons in a dwelling house instead of a gravestone installed in an outdoor graveyard and being capable of being inexpensively manufactured.SOLUTION: A gravestone type ornament 101 is disclosed which includes a pedestal 1 and an erected part 3. The pedestal 1 is flat and simulates a stone foundation on which a gravestone being a stone monument, is installed. The erected part 3 is erected on a top face of the pedestal 1 and forms an outer shape simulating an outer shape of the gravestone. In an example shown, the erected part 3 simulates a three stage-type gravestone having a lower base, an upper base, and a pole stone in this order from bottom. Both of the pedestal 1 and the erected part 3 are made from a synthetic resin. The erected part 3 also includes a drawer type storage box 7 having an open top face. The storage box 7 is stored under a body part 5 so as to be pulled out or put in from the front. The storage box 7 has a front part that is exposed to an outside of the body part 5 when the storage box 7 is stored in the body part 5, the front part simulating a flower vase and a saucer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
